HAMPSHIRE, Portsmouth, Thomas Sharp, Proof Halfpenny, 1797, in silver, Neptune crowning seated figure of Sir John Jervis with a wreath, rev. legend in 7 lines, reading pursued, edge portsmouth halfpenny payable at thos sharps, 12.23g/5h (DH 63; BHM 434). Minor rim faults on reverse and edge inscription almost non-existent, otherwise extremely fine, very rare £240-£300
