Thomas Davey joined the 2nd Battalion, 32nd Foot from the North Devon Militia on 15 April 1808. He transferred to the 1st Battalion in April 1811 and served in the Peninsula in 1813 and 1814, and although he was sick for most of the campaign he did live to claim the M.G.S. for Orthes. He was absent sick throughout the period of the Waterloo campaign and his name is not on the Waterloo medal roll. He deserted at Hilsea sometime between 25 December 1816 and 24 March 1817. Sold with copied Pay and Muster lists.
