Birmingham Loyal Association (Infantry) Officer’s Shoulder Belt Plate 1798-1801.
A very scarce copper gilt oval example, the plate simply engraved with the crown over decorated script capitals, ‘BLA’, one hook and two stud fasteners, very little gilt remains otherwise good condition £500-£700

Note: Examples exist in the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery Collection along with one of the Birmingham Light Horse Volunteers, a contemporary unit.
