Five: Company Quartermaster Sergeant J. Richardson, Royal Engineers Special Reserve

1939-45 Star; Defence and War Medals 1939-45; Coronation 1937, unnamed as issued; Efficiency Medal, G.V.R., Militia, with two Additional Award Bars (7574818 C.Q.M. Sjt. J. Richardson. R.E.) mounted as worn, light contact marks, generally very fine (5) £120-£160

J. Richardson served with the Royal Engineers (Special Reserve) with the British Expeditionary Force during the Second World War, as part of 106th Army Troops Company, R.E. Following evacuation from Dunkirk he seems to have held appointments in Training Units in the U.K. Confirmed on the medal roll for the award of the 1937 Coronation Medal, he was awarded the first and second Award Bars to the Efficiency Medal per Army Order 104 of 30 June 1945.
