Banco de Portugal, obverse and reverse photographs showing an unused Bradbury Wilkinson design for 500 Escudos, c.1935, obverse with Albuquerque at right, as with the Portuguese India notes issued ten years later, reverse with image of the Conquest of Malacca and a head in profile showing the Hindu merchant, Nina Chatu, nothing like this note was ever produced, although the design shares some elements with the other Bradbury notes printed in the same era, mounted on card, photos excellent condition, unique and an important record of a beautiful design (2 photos)
