Currency Commission, Irish Free State, £50, 10 September 1928, serial number Y/01 009431, Brennan and McElligott signatures, light handling, one central fold, wonderful original paper with embossing still visible around the serial numbers, overall good extremely fine and probably the finest extant example of this first Lady Lavery date. The £50 is considerably rarer than the £100 for this date.
