Percival Conrad Cemery, was born in Preston, Lancashire and enlisted at Alton, Hampshire. Serving as a Serjeant with the 1/4th Battalion Hampshire Regiment, he was killed in action in Mesopotamia on 21 January 1916. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Basra Memorial. Percival Conrad Cemery was one of the son’s of Sergeant-Major J. B. Cemery. For his father’s and brother’s medals see lots xxx and xxx.
