1914 Star (L-14134 Pte. E. Foster. 4/Middx R.) good very fine £100-£140

Ernest Foster attested for the Middlesex Regiment and served with the 4th Battalion during the Great War on the Western Front from 14 August 1914. He was taken Prisoner of War at Mons in 1914, one of 397 ‘Regulars’ of the Regiment (approximately half a Battalion) who were taken Prisoner of War prior to Christmas Day 1914.
