Geoffrey Sidney Vickary attested for the Army Service Corps and served with the 1st Indian Cavalry Supply Column during the Great War on the Western Front from 22 November 1914, the final qualifying day for the 1914 Star. He was commissioned temporary Second Lieutenant in the Royal Army Service Corps on 11 November 1918, the final day of the hostilities.
