Mervyn Ronald David Orr, a native of Banks, New South Wales, was born on 18 June 1937, and served with 2 Squadron, Royal Australian Air Force in Vietnam from 9 July 1970 to 25 February 1971. His unit was awarded the United States Air Force Outstanding Unit Award.

Sold together with an R.A.A.F. ‘staybrite’ cap badge and a United States unit citation riband in gilt frame.
