William John Withers was born at Midsomer Norton, Somerset, in 1884 and attested for the Royal Garrison Artillery at Bath, Somerset, on 9 December 1915. Mobilised on 1 June 1917, he served with the 461st Siege Battery on the Western Front from 18 September 1918, and died at home on 9 April 1919. He is buried under a C.W.G.C. headstone in Radstock (St. Nicholas) Churchyard Extension.

Alfred Steel was born in Hackney, Middlesex, and attested for the Rifle Brigade at Stratford, Essex. He served with the 3rd Battalion during the Great War on the Western Front from 23 October 1914, and was killed in action on 1 September 1916. He is buried in Serre Road Cemetery No. 2, France.

Charles Alfred Connell attested for the Army Service Corps and served with them during the Great War on the Western Front from 23 October 1915, later transferring to the Labour Corps.
