C.& T.C.) initials and surname unofficially re-engraved; Khedive’s Star, dated 1882, unnamed as issued, suspension slightly bent on first, contact marks and pitting from Star, nearly very fine (2) £120-£160

Note: No trace of a F. W. Dunn has been found on the medal rolls, and given the fact that the recipient’s name (but not the number, rank, or unit) has been unofficially re-engraved, this might well be a ‘self-awarded’ pair. Consequently this lot is sold as found.
