Harry Kent attested for the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry and served with the 2nd Battalion during the Great War on the Western Front from 12 September 1914. Believed to have been wounded by gun shot to the left leg in November 1914, he subsequently served with the Essex Regiment, the Devonshire Regiment, and the Labour Corps.
