Three: Private D. C. Smith, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry, who was taken Prisoner of War in the retreat to Dunkirk

E. Foskett attested for the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry and served with the 1st Battalion as part of the British Expeditionary Force in 1940. Initially reported as missing, he was later confirmed as having been taken Prisoner of War, and was held at Camp 21D, Poznan, Poland.

D. C. Smith attested for the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry and served with the 1st Battalion as part of the British Expeditionary Force in 1940. He was taken prisoner of war during the final withdrawal to Dunkirk, and was held at Stalag 344, Lambinowice, Poland. He was awarded the Efficiency Medal per Army Orders of 31 August 1949.
