Queen’s South Africa 1899-1902, 6 clasps, Cape Colony, Orange Free State, Johannesburg, Diamond Hill, Belfast, South Africa 1901, unofficial rivets between fifth and sixth clasps (2269 Pte. C. Harding. Rl: Warwick: Regt.) suspension claw re-pinned and slightly loose, otherwise very fine

C. Harding attested for the Royal Warwickshire Regiment and served with the 2nd Battalion in South Africa during the Boer War.

Sold together with a double sided oval pin back brooch, with bevelled glass, containing a photographic image of two uniformed soldiers, one presumed to be the recipient, with an additional part hand coloured photograph to the reverse of a young lady; and a postcard size photograph of the recipient in later years wearing his medal, accompanied by his wife.
