Robert Edward Parker attested for the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry on 14 January 1913, and served with the 2nd Battalion during the Great War on the Western Front from 14 August 1914. He was discharged due to wounds on 30 January 1916, and was awarded Silver War Badge No. 83876.
