British Coins from the Collection of Ian Sawden

Victoria (1837-1901), Pattern Penny, 1860, by J. Moore, in copper, type 4, laureate bust left, rev. Britannia seated to right on rock, no legend, edge plain, 11.14g/12h (F 857; BMC 2130; Magnay –). Usual minor rust marks in reverse field and a surface metal fault, otherwise extremely fine, obverse with partial original colour, very rare £400-£500
