Abram Belskie (1907-89), sculptor and humanitarian, was born in London and grew up in Glasgow. He was a medical sculptor for the New York Medical College. The Belskie Museum of Art and Science in Closter, New Jersey, opened in 1994, whilst a set of these medals has been displayed recently at the Lane library, Stanford University
