France, Paris, 1950, a plated bronze award medal by P. Turin, female figure of Paris holding the symbols of the city, accoutrements of the arts and sciences behind, rev. the Arc de Triomphe, Île de la Cité and other landmarks around, un-named, 81mm (CGMP p.1837; cf. DNW 49, 979). Minor rim marks on reverse at 1 o’clock, otherwise virtually as struck and deeply patinated (£50-60)
