France, Défense du Grand Couronné de Nancy, 1926, a bronze medal by P.-M. Dammann, bust of Général de Castelnau left, rev. Bellona kneeling with spear and shield, 68mm (CGMP p.113); Le Matin, c. 1930, a bronze medal by E. Fraisse, standing female figure holding quill and telegraph wires, rev. torch and wreath, LE MATIN on scroll, 50mm (cf. DNW 47, 898) [2]. Very fine and better; second in original green fitted case (£50-60)
