Ponthon, conjoined busts of Louis and Marie Antoinette right, rev. the scene in the Place de la Concorde, the King's head held up to the crowd, 51mm (Pollard 2; BDM III, 239) [2]. First very fine, second extremely fine; latter in original case of issue [hinge broken] (£50-70)
