Lady Charlotte Legge (1774-1848), daughter of William Legge, 2nd Earl of Dartmouth, was one of the four ladies in waiting to Princess Caroline of Brunswick on the occasion of her marriage to the Prince of Wales on 8 April 1795. On 24 September 1795 she married Charles Duncombe, 1st Baron Feversham (1764-1841), and bore him the first of three sons before the year was out
