Charles I (1625-1649), Tower mint, Halfcrown, Gp IV, mm. triangle-in-circle, scarf flying from shoulder, mane before horse’s chest, 15.45g/4h (cf. SCBI Brooker 371-6; N 2214; S 2775). Irregular flan with much legend missing, otherwise very fine, the King’s face quite clear (£80-100)
