Charles I (1625-1649), Tower mint, Halfcrown, Gp II, mm. portcullis, cross on housings, rev. large oval scroll-garnished shield between cr, 14.83g/5h (cf. SCBI Brooker 315-17; N 2207; S 2769). Hairline scratches on obverse, otherwise very fine with attractive grey tone (£150-200)
