Horace Olmstead was born at Forrester’s Falls, Ontario, on 8 December 1882 and attested for the Canadian Overseas Expeditionary Force at Winnipeg, Manitoba, on 20 December 1915. He served with the 101st Battalion, Canadian Infantry during the Great War, and died after the War of related injuries/ illness on 25 December 1930.
