Bengal N.I.) fitted with contemporary top silver riband bar; together with the recipient’s Scottish Naval and Military Academy Prize Medal, silver, the reverse engraved ‘Military Drawing’ 1st Prize, Mr. M. C. Perreau, 24th July 1851’, with two additional award bars for ‘Artillery’ and ‘Sketching’, the reverse of both identically engraved ‘Mr. M. C. Perreau, 24th July 1851’, minor edge bruising, clasp side carriage pierced, good very fine (2) £400-£500

M. C. Perreau was commissioned Ensign on 4 February 1854, and was promoted Lieutenant on 1 May 1858.
