Buckinghamshire, Slough, William Till, Halfpenny, 1794, in light bronze or brass, similar, edge plain, 8.28g/12h (DH 24; Preston-Morley –). Virtually as struck with full original colour, of the highest rarity; believed the only known specimen in this metal and not recorded in the standard reference (£150-250)

The only other known Till halfpence in brass are a specimen of DH 21 sold by Seaby to Patrick Deane in 1976, and a specimen of DH 23 in the Preston-Morley collection (DNW 52, lot 1044, £260)
