Robert III (1390-1406), Heavy coinage, Second issue, Groat, Edinburgh, mm. cross pattée, tressure of seven arcs broken by bust, trefoils on cusps except at top, annulets in spandrels, double annulet stops, 2.86g/10h (SCBI 35, 572; B 41; S 5167). Striking crack at 8 o’clock, reverse weakly struck and sometime cleaned, otherwise nearly very fine (£80-100)
