Charles II (1660-1685), First coinage, Half-Merk, 1664, type II, counterstamped 1665 behind bust, 3.22g/6h (Murray 23a; SCBI 35, –; B 2; S 5614). Scratch behind head and some adjustment marks, otherwise good very fine and an exceptional example of this extreme rarity (£800-1,000)
