James V (1513-1542), Second coinage, Groat, type III, Edinburgh, crowned bust with open mantle right, trefoil of pellets in field behind, trefoil stops both sides, 2.55g/8h (SCBI 35, 927, same obv. die; B 8, fig. 712; S 5378). Legends weak in places, otherwise very fine (£200-250)
