Henry VIII (1509-1547), Third coinage, Testoon, Tower, mm. pellet-in-annulet, capped as, Lombardic es, Roman rs both sides, rev. Lombardic ms, sleeve stops both sides, 7.34g/2h (Jacob O 16 var/R 19; N 1841; S 2365). Legends weak in places, otherwise good very fine, the portrait and crowned Tudor rose particularly well struck and clear (£4,000-5,000)
