Henry VI (First reign, 1422-1461), Leaf-Pellet issue, class B, Groat, London, mm. cross IIIb on obv. only, leaf on neck, pellet each side of crown, fleurs on cusps except above crown, saltire stops, rev. pellet on inner circle in second and third quarters, no stops, 3.87g/4h (Whitton 46d; N 1504; S 1915). Legends slightly weak, otherwise very fine with clear portrait and attractively toned (£180-220)
