Edward the Confessor (1042-1066), PACX type, Penny, Hertford, Deorsige, drsiie on rfor, 0.92g/9h (Freeman 11, this specimen listed; N 813; S 1171). Small surface crack (north-south) down arm of cross, otherwise very fine and extremely rare of this mint (£700-900)

Sold with Elmore Jones ticket re-attributing the coin to Hertford
