Kings of Kent, Baldred (c. 823-5), Penny, Oba, +baldred rex around cross pattée, rev. +oba divided by four forks around cross pattée, 1.30g/5h (obv. cf. B L & S Ba 9 but without Canterbury mint signature, rev. cf. Ba 7 but with additional fork; cf. N 215/214; S 880). Minor rim chip between 9 and 11 o’clock and hairline surface cracks, otherwise very fine, the type previously unrecorded (£2,500-3,000)
