Warrant Officer(Pilot) Dennis Aaron was killed along with 10 passengers when the Dakota that he was piloting struck high ground and crashed near Rawalpindi, India on 30 April 1946. At the time he was attached to No. 3 Parachute Training School having previously served with 229 Squadron, R.A.F.V.R.
