The Corps of Honorary Stewards of the Royal Albert Hall were finally disbanded in 1985 after 114 years service looking after seating arrangements at the Hall. The 60-strong Corps did not have a uniform but were expected to dress in dark blue or grey suits, and wore a silver badge in the lapel of their jackets with the initials RAH with a crown on top.
