Punjab 1848-49, 2 clasps, Mooltan, Goojerat (Lieut. T. R. Crawley, 15th Hussars, Extra A.D.C.) contemporary re-engraved naming, fitted with silver ribbon suspension brooch, contact marks, otherwise nearly very fine £40-50

Colonel Thomas R. Crawley was present at the closing operations before Mooltan and at the surrender of the citadel, 22nd January, 1849. He served as extra Aide-de-Camp to Sir Henry Dundas commanding the Bombay Division of the army of the Punjaub during the march from Mooltan and the subsequent operations, and was present at the battle of Goojerat and in the pursuit of the Sikh army to the river Jhelum (mentioned in despatches, medal with two clasps).
