National Bank of Vietnam, a hand executed painting of the tiger that features on the 500 Dong from the 1972 Issue, the medium used by the artist to create this piece was a combinations of pencil, charcoal and gouache painted on thick card, the painting is mounted in a frame along with an issued example of the 500 Dong, the card is foxed and has two pieces of red tape stuck to it, evidence of mounting, official printers annotations beneath the painting ‘please reduce to size indicated, supply 2 glossy prints’, the size indicated is 71mm which is the exact length of the tiger on the printed note, unique and attractive!
