Cnut (1016-1035), Penny, Short Cross type, Warminster, Winegod, pineg on por, 1.12g/3h (SCBI Copenhagen 4212 [different dies]; BEH 3869; N 790; S 1159). Minor flan crack at 4 o’clock, otherwise extremely fine with light dusty find patina, extremely rare £1,500-£2,000

Provenance: Found in the Bristol area, 2013 (EMC 2013.0061).
