Coins, Tokens and Historical Medals

Charles I (1625-1649), Tower mint, Shilling, Gp C, type 2a, mm. plume, five pellets around shield, stops four and five pellets cruciform, 5.87g/7h (Sharp C2/1; SCBI Brooker 449, same obv. die; N 2221; S 2787). Obverse good fine but weak, reverse about very fine but die shows signs of disintegration £80-£100
