FRANCE, Helena, 1909 [issued 1912], a bronze plaque by R. Grégoire for the SAMF, robed figure of Helena standing amid the ruins of a city, a dead youth at her feet, rev. Eros, naked, stands on plinth, a rich Italianate garden in background, 90 x 60mm, edge stamped 85 (Maier 53; PBE 470; Classens 42; Coll. R. Marx 145; BDM VII, 394; cf. Baldwin 46, 2306). Good very fine, rare £180-£220
