Roman Imperatorial Coinage, CÆSARIANS, Julius Cæsar, Denarius, travelling military mint in North Africa, 47-6, diademed head of Venus right, rev. caesar, Æneas advancing left, carrying palladium in right hand and Anchises on left shoulder, 3.66g (Craw. 458/1; BMCRR East 31-5; RSC 12; CRI 55). Reverse struck slightly off-centre, otherwise good very fine, toned £300-£400
