George III (1760-1820), Soho coinage, Pattern Mule Penny, 1813, by T. Wyon, in copper, laureate and draped bust right, no artist’s initials, rev. crowned harp, edge centre-grained, 17.47g/6h (DF 611; KM. Pn 40; Prid. British Guiana 68; cf. R.J. Ford Sale I, lot 421). Minor surface marks and knocks both sides visible on close inspection, otherwise almost extremely fine and attractively patinated, extremely rare (£1,200-1,500)
