Charles II (1660-1685), Second coinage, Half-Dollar, 1675, pellet-in-annulet stops (Murray 39; SCBI 35, 1618-21; B 1, fig. 1075; S 5619). Light wear on the high points, French arms weakly struck and an edge fault at 11 o’clock, otherwise almost extremely fine with an attractive and even dark tone, an exceptional specimen and extremely rare (£4,000-5,000)
