Edward III (1327-1377), Pre-Treaty period, Noble, series Gg/Gd, mm. cross 3 on rev. only, cs and es cut at top, rev. annulet to right of top lis, lis to left of crown in second quarter, small e in centre, saltire stops both sides, 7.70g/1h (cf. SCBI Schneider 50; N 1183/1181; S 1490). Weak in places and some minor surface marks, otherwise very fine, rare (£800-1,000)
