Early Anglo-Saxon Period, Primary series (c 680-c 710), Sceatta, series B1, head right, rev. bird above cross between annulets, blundered legend, serpent circle both sides, 1.19g/10h (M 105; N 126; S 777). Extremely fine with attractive iridescent olive tone (£150-200)
