XIV: Seals by Simon, Parliament’s Seal, 22 January 1650/1, a uniface steel electrotype copy of the Seal (obverse), conjoined shields of England and Ireland within ornate scrolled border, the seale of the parliament of the commonwealth of england, 62mm, 41.50g (Henfrey p.221, and pl. vii, 2). Extremely fine £200-£300

The die (matrix) for this seal may possibly have been found with the Dunbar dies in the 18th century, but is not now known
