The ‘Zenith’ Daytona is an extremely important model in the history of the Rolex Daytona. Introduced in 1988, this was Rolex’s first self-winding chronograph. The movement was manufactured by Zenith but extensively modified by Rolex to its own specification.
Over the 12 years of its production, the Zenith Daytona underwent a few changes, the last one being the introduction of the luminova dial in 1998.
Rolex stopped using the Zenith movement in 2000 when it debuted its own in-house calibre 4130.
This iconic watch is highly sought-after by watch collectors around the world.
