Memorial Plaque (John Emye Thomas) nearly extremely fine £100-£140

John Emye Thomas, a native of Ruthin, Denbighshire, was born on 14 March 1894 and was commissioned temporary Flight Sub-Lieutenant in the Royal Naval Air Service on 19 May 1916. He served as a Ferry Pilot with the Royal Naval Division, and was killed whilst flying on 3 September 1917. He is buried under a C.W.G.C. Headstone in Rhewl Calvinistic Methodist Chapelyard, Denbighshire.
