The massive 71cm bright straight blade with 23cm spear point, etched panel, ‘Manufactured By The Wilkinson Sd. Coy. London’, solid sheet steel hand guard with lapped edges and provision for a sword knot, slab brass ribbed hand grips riveted to the tang. Heavy gauge black leather scabbard with top and bottom brass chapes, the upper with a frog stud, a separate brass ‘diamond’ below the top chape is inscribed ’67’. A sprung release stud at the base of the hand grip, very good condition £200-£300
